Takao Shirakawa studied clarinet. He graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music in 1986 and from the Music Academy Detmold (Germany) in 1993. Takao Shirakawa has given numerous recitals in Germany and France as well as in Japan (Tokyo,Yokohama etc) and has recorded with NHK-FM Radio on several occasions.
